Lesson 3.0.0. How to Sep Up a Gmail Account
As mentioned above, an email address is very important in the operation of a cryptocurrency exchange. Gmail is a more secured and safer email; hence, it is recommended.
The followings are the steps to create a Gmail account and secure it.
Step 1: Go to www.gmail.com
Step 2: Click Create account. This will open up the sign-up form.
Step 3: Fill in the details and enter your username in the sign-up form.
The username for your email should be a simple one that anyone you send it to can easily use. A username is often not part of the security layout; rather it is your address, hence, it should be user‑friendly and not too complicated.
Step 4: Next, enter your phone number to verify your account.
Step 5: You will receive a text message from Google with a verification code. Enter the code to complete the account verification.
Step 6: Next, you will see a form to enter some of your personal information, like your gender and birthday.
Step 7: Review Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Step 8: Then click “I agree” and your gmail account will be created.

3.0.1. How to set up two-step verification in your Gmail account:
Google uses a two-step verification process for your account security. Therefore, after setting up your Gmail account, you should set up a two-step verification process to enhance your Gmail account security.
Here are the steps to protect your account with 2-Step Verification:
Step 1: Login to your Gmail account
Step 2: Click on the google app icon at the top right corner in your Gmail account
Step 3: Look for Google Account and click on it.
Step 4: In the navigation panel, select Security.
Step 5: Under Signing in to Google, select 2-Step Verification. Get started.
Step 6: Follow the on-screen steps.
