2.2.0. Asset Area
This is where you will see all the cryptocurrencies that the exchange offers. Some exchanges name their Assets simply as Balance, Account, Wallet, or Fiat and Spot. Don’t be confused if you see such slight variations in terminologies.
Each crypto asset has a wallet. Once you click on each asset, the next page is the wallet of the asset. Each wallet will have two basic components:
1. Deposit – to receive the crypto asset
2. Withdrawal – to send out the crypto asset
Some exchanges have a third component, Trade, as a component of a wallet. If you click on such Trade button, it will take you to the trading platform where you can sell or buy the crypto.
If you want to see your cryptocurrencies, look for them in Assets.
If you want to send or receive cryptocurrencies, you do so in the Asset Area via the Deposit or Withdrawal component. It’s that simple. Isn’t it?
Note that if it is a Fiat Crypto Exchange, the fiat currencies that the exchange offers will also be seen in this Asset area. Each fiat currency will also have buttons for Deposit, Withdrawal, and Trading.
